    I already have Andy's Phoenix BIOS tool, but I can't find the BIOS revision number of the loaded original BIOS in it.
    I cannot proceed before I know the revision number, since the BIOS that has been previously modded in this thread is for FZ35 model, but I need one for the FZ31. If the revision number matches, I can use the given FZ35 BIOS file.

    edit: It matches, and as far as I can tell, everything worked fine so far since I did not try to install Windows 7 yet.

    as far as i can tell, the modded bios is not included in the iso.
    you can try to flash via Windows first though. Just execute file srae170a_w32.exe and follow on-screen instruction.

    Thank you! I do have a program called "virtual floppy" and may (first) try to build an image that will burn to a CD, if that doesn't work, I'll try from the XP environment.
