    I have a gateway c-120x (also known as the e155c).
    The notebook has a phoenix bios version 85.14.
    I can't seem to find a version of the bios for download anywhere.
    I don't think there were ever any updates to it.

    Is there a way to extract my current bios and modify it to have a 2.1 slic and then update the bios?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    for Phoenix-Phoenix, we need original bios to mod, as the backup bios does not contain Platform Data, hence unable to flash back.

    I'm using whichever cert came with it... using the cmd prompt "slmgr.vbs -ilc" method. Is that not the appropriate thing to do?
