    It came with WinXP Home preinstalled. It still has the sticker with the serial number on the bottom...
    Maybe I should just stay with XP, I don't know if the laptop can handle Win7... Do you think it's worth it checking out the tool anyway?

    look xp is great, but win7 is better. so i definitely would check out.

    I dont think it's hard to extract your bios, but modding your bios without rweverything report is hard, it may required manual mod.
    I would reload windows 7 and re-run the rweverything tool.
