Hi Painterman How do you check if you have a slic table? I did not check if i had a slic table after flashing my modded dell gx280 bios, vista activated after flashing.
Well the utility it came with (in DOS) gives an error that it's the wrong BIOS (even though the numbers match up), and opening the tool in Windows gives a CRC checksum error. I plan on using AwardFlash if it'll work, but I just wanted to double check with somebody on here that I haven't got a corrupted binary file or something so I don't end up bricking the computer. So, is this checksum error normal/to be expected or did something get corrupted? Thanks again for all your help, by the way.
