Hi. Imatrix, I was able to get my LAPTOP back. But again, I used your BIOS but still it is shown as slic 2.0 in RW everything with a 20 and a few pairs of zeros next to line 53 When I booted from the flash it was at a c prompt and all i did was type the flasher utility letters that you gave me, then hit enter, it beeped and said it was programming and then shut down, I then rebooted....but still it's 2.0, anything else I might try? I might mention I'm still in Vista, NOT win 7....will slic 2.1 be present in a vista environment with rw everything?[/SIZE] Thanks, Jeff
Gladly Imatrix, but using rw everything how do i do this? Can i attach to my post my screen capture for you? BIG EDIT...What finally made it slic 2.1 was typing 161700/x/force/o/c/s bios.wph Thnx Jeff
