    hello to all..!
    I just flashed my laptop
    -Manufacturer: HP
    -Motherboard Model: Pavilion dv5160ea (dv5000 series)
    -Bios revision: F.24
    -Bios Type: Phoenix BIOS
    where Slic toolkit didn't show any slic table...
    with this mod bios, HP_Pavilion_dv5000t_CTO_Notebook_PC-HP-F.24A_sp37159.exe-HP_SLIC21_HP_SLP
    Now..slic toolkit show me slic v2.1 but slic status invalidated.
    Any suggest?

    flashed from dos with usb key.
    I can come back to original bios...
    and try again..
    if you think it can be useful...

    in truth I used this one HP_Pavilion_dv5000t_CTO_Notebook_PC-HP-F.24A_sp37159.exe-HP_SLIC21_HP_SLP
    instead the second you told me to use..because the link doesn't work...
    Anyway I think it's better to go to sleep now..(2.24 am here)..thank you again.. and...see you soon!

    hi Imatrix..
    ..right now I flashed laptop with a mod bios done with Phoenix_Mod_Tool_1.31, following instruction on the website..
    All is fine now.
    Sever is activated...and Slic dump seems to be all green!
    thank you again for your help
    so you can ignore the following post I did before.
