    Please accept my apology in not responding any sooner. Althought I have flashed the Bios, I have a secondary problem which will not allow me to install any windows 7 based product. There seems to be an incompatibility between windows and the LSI SAS Firmware Expander. I am in contact with Tyan for a FW update for the controller but it takes time with their help system. Please be assured I will report the final outcome as soon as I'm actually able to install server 2008r2. Thanks again,
