    YES... isnt the first time! Im flashing bios from 1992... but this is mod bios... and so: work all the mod bios?

    matrix, what do i need to do?

    the mainboard has been flashed with vF.24 then a backup of the bios was taken using bios backup toolkit is this correct so that it can be modded to a slic 2.1?

    Your link points to Laptop Model: dv6815nr (dv6700 series -AMD Quanta 7150M/nforce560)

    Isn't that a different series?
    I know they seem to use the same bios but I've already tried another modified F32 and it complained that it was not for that laptop.

    In the one I already used, I renamed the 'B' version of the .WPH and used PH161700.EXE in DOS mode.
    I suppose this is the recommended method for your link too.
    By the way, what's the difference between the 'A' and 'B' versions?
