    Hi syrn,

    I have successfully flashed my laptop with the modded BIOS, so far it worked and SLIC is now 2.1.

    I am planning on testing the win7 upgrade this weekend and will provide the results.

    Edit: Win7 activation worked as well... :biggrin:

    That is what crazy amounts of paranoid backing up is for. :)

    Any idea what the issue might be? Was there anything odd about the rom? note that in the official link the bin file is for Intel AMT update. The bios rom is segregated in the flashaid folder.
