    ok i thought the bios in the samsung n150 netbooks is a dell bios - but if you all think that thats not the case i will install another copy of windows 7.
    i'll let you know after i reinstalled windows.

    ok i got an untouched windows version at msdn and it turns out you were right - slic toolkit now displays everything how it should be and after a little customizing i got windows activated.

    i dont really know why my own windows version gave me false readings in slic toolkit because i used this exact copy of windows several times in the past - also with problematic bioses and never had any problems.

    so thank you very much for your help everything works fine now.
