    1. you already have the original bios, why would you need to back up?
    2. The flash process must run in DOS, not windows command prompt

    How to run in DOS? There is no other choise. First choise ''Backup and Flash BIOS'' Second ''Backup BIOS'' Can anyone help with this?

    Nope, nothing - it's a fresh install of W7.

    All previous partitions removed.

    Upload an RW-Everything report using the original BIOS from HP. The problem is likely because the Vista SLIC 2.0 wasn't replaced (i.e. dynamic mod) and the Win7 SLIC was just added on.
