    It doesnt matter though, as long as the original bios is the same.
    there is always a risk involving flashing bios, but yep we have a few recovery procedures in place.

    Hi All

    Can anyone help me in modifying the bios for my HP compaq B1200 Laptop
    who's bios is available at
    ftp[://]ftp[.]hp[.]com[/]pub[/]softpaq[/]sp41501-42000[/]sp41848.exe
    *remove the square brackets from the url....

    how to remove the SLIC 2.0 and add SLIC 2.1 to this HPQ bios?

    Does anybody have the below BIOS handy? The link seems to be broken.
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
