    Acer aspire 1690 modded M26 version working, thanx for help. i used original WinPhlash file (acer) with modded bios in win xp.

    cant your system recover via USB drive?

    I've tried every possible way with usb drive. Im not even sure if the system reads it.

    I managed to get the usb drive to blink ( only one time) when I use crisis recovery disk.

    I don't know what else i can do. the only way left is to use a floppy I think.

    Thanks, I never would have been able to find that file under a different name.
    Anyways I installed the BIOS rebooted and windows immediately activated. No issues what so ever.

    looking for bios 2.10 with slic 2.1 for toshiba tecra a5 PTA50E but i can not find only for version PTA51E anyone help?
