    I'll be incompetent, but I assure you that as soon as I press on the link I open a white window and crashes Internet Explorer.
    how do I fix this?

    I tried DOS method first:
    error - this bios is not for your notebook pc

    Then I used Phoenix Mod Tool 1.42, files 30CFF32A_SLIK.WPH and 30CFF32B_SLIK.WPH have been created. I check SLIC with RW-everything and it's still 2.0 !

    Can I try something else?

    Yes, I checked with SLIC Toolkit and the bios has SLIC 2.1.
    But this means that I can install Win7 ultimate without bios mod?

    all you have to do is to install certificate and key.

    hmm this is strange, as you can see the links to the original bioses are the same.
    I'm not sure why you cant do it.
