we are going to use winphlash.exe from your first download, in command prompt, cd to wherever you extracted the file, and do the following.
    winphlash.exe /spi /bbl /sd /nochk R0052G7.WPH

Sometimes you have to flash to previous version and back to new version (MOD) bios with Sony..Has this been tried. It may be best to DOS flash at any rate..

just download the original bios, and run it.

I can't seem to find an older BIOS to download for this Sony VGN-T350P. If anyone could provide some assistance in that area it would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure if I could find one that this would be the solution. In the meantime I tried "winphlash.exe /spi /bbl /sd /nochk R0052G7.WPH" and it reports /spi /sd and /nochk as invalid switches. I'm a little gun shy about DOS flashing it since these Sony's seem a little tricky and I don't want to cause any problems. If I can do the downgrade and upgrade I think I'd be set but I don't know where to find an older BIOS. Obviously, I checked the Sony site but they don't seem to offer anything other than the current BIOS for download.
