    I am new to the whole bios flashing thing. I have seen a bios for the GX280 but I don't know how to flash it. If anyone can help let me know. Thank you

    you can either flash it in Windows, or DOS.
    got any link to the bios you downloaded?

    thanks for the help guys, finally got this one figured out. SLIC and SLP1.0 DMI String Inserted successfully, turns out the .rom file actually contains the platform data, that's why phlash didn't work rom file was 515KB, not sure why supermicro's batch file contains lines for phlash anyway, must be universal for older images as well.
