    this backup bios was patched to be flashable again ,i flashed it to my machine several times,it is a backup bios but it was patched to be flashable,

    very well then, I just modded.
    but before I provide the mod, can you pls provide me
    1. the laptop model name
    2. how did you make it flashable? where can I read about it?
    3. How are you gonna flash it?
    Sorry for asking lots of questions, I wanna learn too.

    can i run it from windows 7 64bit???
    i get this error when flash from windows

    what's the error msg, the image is too small to read.
    you can try to flash via DOS as you mentioned earlier.

    HI IMATRIX

    i have flashed the bios you provide successfuly from usb using win98dos everything is ok but when i run SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2,i have these errors

    I just flashed the Kizwan modded BIOS with the Fujitsu SLIC :) Works swell :)

    Thanks 911Medic for doing this mod. The link to the modded BIOS for the DV6810us is dead; does anyone have it? I've tried to do this mod myself, spent a few hours on it, just could not do it. Tried a lot of things, like using the smallest certificates, etc. but it still gave a size error during compression.

    Anyway, hoping to use a modded one from someone who actually knows how to do it.

    can someone provide a working slic 2.1 for sony vaio because all have been REVOKED,please help.
