    No, i've never used anything like that. I used the original Bios 1.15c with Slic 2.0 and OEM SLP Key to run Vista before flashing

    Fijitsu is really not that hard to modify....it is nothing like SONY.....I see the slic but there is something in this equation which is missing and I cannot think of what it is.

    It is phoenix bios on my Inspiron 700m laptop.

    After research on net, there are two methods the extract the rom.

    1st, in dos flash utility, use 700m_a07.exe -writeromfile or -writehdrfile to extract the rom file from the utility, which I tried but failed. It seems there is no such parameter for the 700m_a07.exe

    2nd, use Winphlash Utility to backup it from the laptop rom. And this is the 700m_a07.bak file I provided.

    It's a rom file, just with . bak extension. Hope somebody can help me! Thanks!
