Do you flashed the Modified bios ?
These data do not correspond to the modified BIOS. It's for the original bios.

Copy DOS folder to bootable USB stick, boot from this stick and run dosflash.bat

Ah right, so you have to flash from DOS?

EDIT: I used winplash32 supplied with the ROM A09 (but ran through windows). How would you recommend flashing it?

Do you have A11 for dell studio 1537. When trying to run phoenixtools on bios file from dell I get "Unable to reintegrate BIOSCOD04.ROM"

looking at last few lines of the log its gives:

** DELL DELL string found split in HOLE9.ROM at C replaced
New BIOSCOD02.ROM Module is 37 bytes too small
    ** BIOSCOD02.ROM reintegrated successfully
New BIOSCOD04.ROM Module is 3 bytes too big
New BIOSCOD04.ROM Module is 3 bytes too big
    BIOSCOD04.ROM not reintegrated
    Unable to reintegrate BIOSCOD04.ROM

    Thanks for your help
