I recently purchased the CH341a Pro and have finally delved into the world of BIOS modification and flashing to add to my knowledge, but the clip that came with the programmer is hot garbage. Any DIP-8 can be read fine multiple times in the levered socket, however the SOIC-8 returns different data upon each read with the clip, which tells me it should be replaced. I'm open to the idea of removing SOIC EEPROMs from the board, but is always better avoided where possible, hence wanting a trusty clip. Many thanks.
YW, they are supposed to be best of the best. Can't verify that claim but i'm very happy with Pomona. Tried some chinese brands - Even 3M's was sukcy-suck.
