Very well said. Someone should send this observation to Microsoft.

And how is it faster to open a file on Windows 7 start menu compared to Windows 8.1? Press Windows key, type name of file, use arrow keys to select file, press enter to open. It takes similar amount of time.

=)(= has good points with his post's! That way is called Objective Presentation!

Those applies for the use of the New Start Menu (formally Metro) of Windows 8 and 8.1 as well as for (not working) drivers in Windows 8 and/or 8.1!

Special for the later, it's not MS who's creating those drivers, that's done by the Hardware Manufacturer or some of their developers. Microsoft is providing them with the relevant information for the new drivers if the Hardware Manufacturer asking for such. That would not happen in all cases because a lot of Hardware Manufacturers will even not produce the drivers they were asked for for the reason that they would start building new devices instead of support the older! It's a normal business procedure this days and will be even worsen in the future.

As I wrote in several other post's, there's nothing against fundamental critics. There a lot reasonable doubt's for Microsoft when it come the 3. party Apps, Drivers and Hardware problems.
