Is it Possible to change VRAM settings in BIOS? What I'm would like to know is to change a BIOS 'fixed' amount of Video ram to more. The Netbook I'm talking about is an Acer Aspire One D270 N2800 ZE7 with Atom 2 Core CPU at 2 x 1.86GHz. I was able to 'upgrade' the Memory from 2GB to 4GB with no problems. I tested the same on an MB with N2600 CPU and that didn't work at all with 4GB! I have this Netbook from a Friend who is much disabled with no legs and just a half of one arm who still use a computer using Voice Commands/Control and a Pin attached to his arm stump and doing some work to increase his Income a bit from just $~50.00 a month (Thai Baht 1,800.00)! And a few days ago the MB of that Netbook was out of order and needed a repair, which is now done. Just now I'm on fixing that Netbook back to work (Mainboard now works fine) and try to adjust for a little faster use. I added that 4GB RAM instead of the old 2GB, and that works just fine. I'll also place a 500GB WD Black Scorpio HDD and install Windows 10 Pro on it because he likes to have that and not the old Windows 7 Home it has originally! I just 'stumble' about the very low Video Memory of 8MB! And that's why I ask: "Is there any way to add more Video Memory? Like to modify the BIOS or anything else!" Thanks for any information!
I'm now on installing Windows 10 pro. In the BIOS Info, there is shown that the installed BIOS is v. 1.04 and there's also a VGA Bios shown Intel V1059. After seen that VGA Bios I would like to know if there is a way to enter the settings of that Bios and, if that is possible, the How Too.....! Thanks for any pieces of information.
