    Hi offon7544,

Sorry, if offending by no mean, is the post the exact BIOS I gave you but modded?
This is important since only this file is implementing my battery into cognition of Vista and Win7.

    No offence.

    BIG THX,

    Maschdel

    Thx

    Thank you very very much.
I will give it a try today.
Do I need to flash the original BIOS first and then again the modded?
Can I use my previous Vista activation or do I need to reactivate it with a new key?

    You saved my day.:D

    Like you want.
If you use a ACER certificat, you can keep it. For the key you can also keep it.

    Sony SZ16CP Bios

Sadly it zapped my laptop :(, ah well such was the risk lol.

Cant get it to do a recovery tried all the FN+(keys) method etc no go, blank screen, wont seem to boot to anything, tried usb floppy, cdrom, usb stick zilch.

There must be a way to make it do a bios recovery?

Thanks for trying, i didnt get any errors when flashing, must just be a typical fussy Sony bios lol

    Regards,

    Mx

    Flash gone Crap

    Hi Offon7544,

With me was just the same, as with the mate above.

Have no possibility to boot into dos.
Tried Winphlash, which went great the 3 times before.
Now, While in Vista, everything was fine, said flashed successfull and restarted.
    Then for 3 minutes nothing.
Suddenly BSOD, saying, there was a driver error and Windows would hang up for error in 0x000009?
Then nothing went on for 1 hour. I descided to restart the machine, which only went by unplugging AC and BAT.
Restart -> screen stays black, the LED function, but it won't even come to BIOS loading. Tried several times with the same result.
Unmanteled my notebook to find out, my BIOS is soldered to the board.

Please, if you have any advice how to recover, I am very thankful.

    Greetings,

    Maschdel

First : read the forum about : how it's work, danger...
Then post a link to your bios.
Off topic : qui est parfait selon toi, si ce n'est pas un français :D?
