I take the bios in your link and add slic table. Flash from dos, if doesn't work try in windows. Search on the forum for tools.
Does anyone have a copy of Samsung BIOS for NC10 version 05CA - apparently adds SLIC itself and also overclocking.............. It got removed from their site and they are only showing 04CA again!
It seems that ACPIScope does not have a 64-bit driver for the x64 version of Windows. So it cannot run on my currently installed Vista. I was able to run it on Windows XP and that is of course a 32-bit OS. To my surprised it seems that the BIOS already contained the _ASUS_Notebook SLIC and RSDT. But no XSDT is shown up in Everest. [ RSDT: Root System Description Table ] ACPI Table Properties: ACPI Signature RSDT Table Description Root System Description Table Memory Address AFF01C76h Table Length 72 bytes OEM ID _ASUS_ OEM Table ID Notebook Creator ID LTP [ SLIC: Software Licensing Description Table ] ACPI Table Properties: ACPI Signature SLIC Table Description Software Licensing Description Table Memory Address AFF00000h Table Length 374 bytes OEM ID _ASUS_ OEM Table ID Notebook Creator ID MSFT And in Vista it is shown just like the previous post. Maybe there is something in Vista that it cannot access certain port of the BIOS? I have tried uninstalling the Vista Loader using VOATKToolsV.2.5. Is there a ACPIScope that does support x64 OS?
No, really, there is no 64-bit Driver. Windows will not touch 32-bit driver regardless if disable driver signing enforcement is enabled. I have already tried this.
xD Woah my BIOS must be taking a long time to mod, hopefully it turns out well and when it's done, someone's going to post it here =) *waiting in enthusiasm*
Same here. I did a post about a Fujitsu-Siemens TX 150 server months ago, and I have yet to hear anything. I guess it isn't possible...
