Dude, I'm in Hong Kong and my house has a 100MB wire. That's so normal in my place. Maybe most of you guys are having wireless network, aren't you?
I am not. In my case its just that my country is sooo much undeveloped in many areas. Internet access is just one of them And since I ve been in HK, I know what I am talking about. There just isn't any comparison that can be made here...
Sorry my friend, I wasn't mean to evoke you grief (sorry for my bad English, u should get what I mean). I originally think that everyone here should have a up-to-standard Internet connection speed, maybe at least 50MB/s or more. BTW, anyone knows how's the situation of wireless Internet connection in your countries' universities (e.g. US, UK, Australia, etc)?
I'm on wireless 2.4 GHz. I know old equipment ... this connection is shared with 3 computers in house (home network) ... this is sub provider from cable network.
I use speedtest.net and it´s really good. You should set your speed measurements to mbps and not to kbps
