this on ADSL line 20 Mbps nominal and VOIP

 

12 Down / 6 Up at night

6 Down / 3 Up at day

for ~7 euro (27 PLN) per month

 

this is my speed, i think i need to invest in something faster in the future,.it isn't my down im not satisfied with, rather my upload
but over here in holland we got ziggo wich has decent speeds at the moment, costs around 65 euro's a month though

As of now testing from my couch

 

I paid for 5 Mb/s but only getting 2 Mp/s or 3 Mp/s

I pay $50 a month for 5 Mp/s DSL. I called TDS and told them that my speedtest.net results is never higher than 3.5 Mp/s and my upload speed was a joke. I was told my download/upload speed is based on how many people are on the broadband at the moment. Could that really be the reason why? They also told me that because I live out in the country, there is a chance I won't get 100% of the Mp/s all the time. I was never told any of this when I signed on. I have to stay on this account til next year and would like to look elsewhere but the choices are limited. I only live by small towns where there is only one ISP provider. I tried satellite but that was even worse than the DSL. Is there anything else I can do about getting what I paid for?

3mb/s DSL for $21 dolars (a 1 dolar is like 4.24 pesos), and telefonica services are s**t! (every ISP is s**tty here, but this is the most, sorry for my english)

Little upgrade of mine
50Mb Download / 10Mb Upload for ~7EUR /9USD (29PLN)
But the speed is usualy some faster.. and weird depending choosed server..

 

Eh, I have an awesome server, 12 mb/s speed, very good for seedbox purposes
But waiting for Windows Server one for having REAL server (linux suxx so much for server purposes... Impossible to make correct VNC connection, X.org doesn't work, etc.)
Anyway, to return into the subject, our servers have optical fiber connection.
