before this I was using ADSL 3mbps max download speed was 128kbps because of ISP supplied modem. this is not the full speed, to get full I need 1gbps lan card and then down speed will be ~15MB, but 21st century paradox is that the fastest internet is in countries with low economics
At first my internet speed was 4Mb and download speed was 400-450max. Now they changed it 6,5MB and download to 750-800 max. It´s a lot faster now and when i´m downloading it goes much faster,so i´m happy. BTW the price didn´t rise,it´s still about 11 € for a month,no limitation.

In India, the max speeds a consumer usually gets is 8 mbps with a monthly usage limit of 175GB for US$60/month. Pathetic to say the least. We do have amongst the cheapest mobile and drug costs in the world if that is any consolation. As for me, I am on 8 mbps with monthly usage limit of 175 GB and cost of US$50. Beyond 175GB, download speed goes down to 512 Kbps!!!. That basically excludes bluray downloads. Of course, I can download bluray but my monthly quota will then get finished in 7 days max, and for 23 days, I will have to live with 512 kbps with as much as I can download at that speed. 8 mbps translates into an effective 58-60 MB/minute
I'm getting like 25Mbps down and 3Mbps up on my 25Mb fiber centurylink dsl line it's a vdsl configuration
