On my laptop Acer Aspire 5820TG, with SSD OCZ vertex 2

 

New score, after fresh install with windows 7 ultimate , firewall and defender on at 26 sec. firewall an defender off at 22 sec.

Try clearing the prefetch folder that will give a couple seconds boost.

My PC 212 seconds

 

81 seconds got loads on the start up. but its cool

 

73 seconds. the script running actually seems to slow it down during "stopping processes" and "preparing desktop" portions of the restart process

my system does not restart but shutdown...does enyone knows what to do ?

 

there are ways to reduce restarting time. i think, the easiest way is leaving your PC alone for a while (about 30 min) then restart. Repeat some times then you'll see!
