I have a i7 860 and I do not have alot of stuff turned off for start up and 8gb DDR3 1333 and I use Perfect Disk 11 Pro and Defrag 3 times a week. My start up time was 39 seconds and I'm sure it could be better if I turned some stuff off,I'm also not sure but I think my Boot screen could be slowing me down as it flash twice because my ASUS MOBO has a dual Bios.
Not really, but coming to think of it, if it took my PC 220 seconds, I'd be worried. So I don't *really* care about boot times, but I do care about what they imply

So, 36 seconds with grahics card and 33 seconds without on Windows 7 stock
Even by disabling at startup the following: skype, office, samsung syncmaster software, I could reduce it by 5-10 secs to around 80 secs. Can one really achieve these 40-50 sec restart times with aero enabled. I think disabling aero may make a lot of difference, but other services may make only a diff of 5-10 secs. o&O defrag runs on my PC, install is new, ccleaner, tuneup have cleaned up, even then start up times around 75-80 secs. So startup times are not influenced by dirt in the system. Can someone (esp. with those below <60 secs) enlighten.
