    Go to: .windows/system32/ folder
    rename/delete file shsxs.dll, and restart computer.

    (sorry you have to look in the forum for the exact path im not in w8 anymore :p)

    But note if you do this RegTweak, DO NOT USE A LIVEID OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOOT INTO W8 ANYMORE

    Thats nice but it disabled also the new Taskmanager. :confused:

    I used live ID, did the reg tweak for use Windows 7 start menu without problem.

    how you have done that? i tried it on a pc with 768mb ram but it failed due to less ram (1gig needed) is there a patch for the winsetup dll like with win vista/7?

    The regtweak will work with LiveID if its done for Current User instead of Local Machine, if you change it for Local Machine you can't logon anymore, but for Current User this will not screw up logon.

    I don't know why but I have "Microsoft Confidential" watermark :confused:

    Allright, VPC won't do the job, you need virtual box instead. Enable APIC & ACPI2.0.

    Yeah, disabling Metro seems to cause the watermark on the desktop and in winver to be displayed.
