    Seems weird that 7.4 doesn't work on W8 as it works on 8.1 (seemingly as I haven't tested advanced commands)
    Does the installer refuse to install or is W8 somehow incompatible with .NET 8 ?

    try to edit msi with orca editor to remove check but not tested

    Can someone post an advance powershell script that can be suitable for testing working/notworking commands per Powershell version, so how with its use to be able to check is it some Powershell version after patching is installed and working without errors?

    Powershell 7.6.1 has been released, and standalone x86 version is back on the menu :nosweat:
