Well.... first thing I do, is to work on the windows image with NTLite to remove all the telemetry stuff directly right even before install. Script wishes me to use vanilla and do then probably just the half? idk... what exactly it requires to make own changes? Powershell script not even starts... So, what now?
I guess you re-install... and if you insist on using both tools, apply them the other way around... Sophia first on the live system, then NTlite (Pretty sure it can do this [work on live OS] albeit PAID version) FYI... 1. @farag's Sophia (Open Source- you can see exactly what it does) uses MS (for the most part) reccomended procedures to obtain its' end result, 2. NTlite? ... probably not as much (also closed source... you get what you get) and finally Edited quote to clarify...
Yea, I expected some errors, because my system is already "messed" by NTLite and other programs, but it did not even run, that was.. weird. - Some "ignore conditions" parameter would be nice. If it hurts when it cures, I'm okay with. More than welcome. I do not need really much from the system, pretty most-likely just explorer/taskbar/start-menu, few basic system and network settings, printer (but not that important) and third party browser, steam and VPN client support (very important). Basically doing same, it mostly uses DISM, Registry, and so on, but I get what you mean, FOSS is always better, that is true. Yea, I will try this out pretty soon, but I would more like to have an already prepared ISO for installing, I do not really like "post-installs, in any kind..
But it should. )) SophiApp 2.0 is being cooked everyday. I hope, we will be able to show something on New Year's Eve )) https://t.me/SophiaNews/2492 I was supported by very old script version. Currently, this Windows is not supported any more. PS. Updated the description and title. If someone missed new feature added in April : Export all Windows associations. Associations will be exported as Application_Associations.json file in script root folder; Import exported JSON file after a clean installation. You have to install all apps according to an exported JSON file to restore all associations;
