Pre-Activated VISTA Ultimate for DELL

    Hi, I have pre-activated VISTA ultimate for DELL, I installed it on a standard custom PC and was surprised that it passed validation from Microsoft's website.
    Is there a reason for this and does it mean it will always be detected as genuine ?

    Or is this because I have an ASUS motherboard ? (didn't modify any BIOS)

    ..and if the DELL activated Vista works then why the need to do BIOS SLIC modding ?

    They dont..it probably is not genuine. Maybe pre-activated crap from torrents??

    No slic, no genuine-type off line activation..:cool:
