    Hi everyone.

After trying almost everything, neither of my two Canon printers (one older and one recent) wants to print via USB (not yet tried via Wi-Fi) under Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 2024 (26100.8457).

Has anyone had the same issue and solved it?

    Thanks in advance.

    P. S.: I couldn't find any answers in the forum, and since the topic may or may not be related to the LTSC slimdowned version, I preferred to open a new thread.

    Have you reinstalled the drivers?

First thing that comes to my mind.

Yep, I have already performed "everything" that has been reported out there, but without success.

I agree with you because that was my first thought too.

Anyway, I just restored a backup image (26100.8246) from before the May WUs

2026-05 .NET Framework Security Update (KB5087054)
    2026-05 Security Update (KB5089549) (26100.8457)

and they both work (I don't know if also wireless works because I don't like that type of connection and so I haven't even tried).

So the issue would appear to be related to KB5089549.
    Any thoughts?

Just to add that the error is "The specified driver is invalid" (0x000007d1).
I know there are plenty of reports like this out there, and as said I tried to solve it in every way, but I thought being a slimdowned install I could go into more detail here.
However, I'll try to first install the drivers on the working previous backup (26100.8246) and then to install KB5089549 to see if anything changes.

Okay, it's just a workaround not a solving, but that way it does work for both printers.

At least for now that's more than enough for me. :D
