Hi all ,I recently applied for several wmc upgrade (free keys) direct from microsoft , I have got a few back and used my installation (activated via kms) to upgrade ,it worked perfectly . my question is , i ran "recover keys" on the new Pro/WMC upgraded installation and it returned a completely different key to the original or the upgrade key . I have just created a pro/WMC ISO and would like to know if I can intall it and activate it using the above new key (not the original or upgrade key) to make future installations active without having to continually use the upgrade process .
You should be just fine with the new key that you just saw. Try running the Advanced Token Manager on your PC & see which key it returns you with in the key box. Does it match your new key? It certainly would AFAIK.
