    EVGA NF66 650i Ultra
    Intel Q6600
    4 GB DDR2

I am trying to upgrade my BIOS. It is currently at 2. I downloaded P05.iso from EVGA's website and tried it. It seems to complete OK, but the little chart displayed has two blocks at the center bottom that are green. (which acording to the chart means 'unflashed.") When I boot-up I still have version 2.

So I tried again with P03.iso and P04.iso with the same results. So I tried the P05.exe file, made the bootable floppy & tried it. Same results.

Is there some trick to this board? I've flashed dozens of others without any problems. Is there a BIOS setting that neds to be changed to permit flashing? If so, where? I couldn't find any. Getting frustrated!

    HELP!!

    Solved

I did this OVER & OVER & OVER trying both foppy & DVD methods with no luck. Today I gave it one more try with the DVD. It worked. I don't know why.

    Boot screen now displays:

    Phoenix-AwardBIOS v6.00PG
    (6A61IL02) ReleaseNumber 731N2P05
NVIDIA BIOS version: BIOS version: 2.053.91

    Case closed. :)
