problem installing .NET 3.5 on win8.1 pro

o man,i tried every possible way to fix it!in prewiew is ok !i wait EA too make a update !too origin or fifa13 ...

 

it said ''installation successfull'' but there is still no net 3.5. it shows %62.6 and suddenly says successful.

is language pack important before install wiht this way. because i installed my language pack and after tried this.

 

Can you check and make sure that net 3.5 has installed successfully your windows?

And also check your graphics card drivers. Make sure you installed the 8.1 drivers because there are reports that games won't run if you installed older drivers that are not compatible with 8.1

 

nvdia 326.80 latest beta.net 3.5 has installed. visual c++.directx. ... and no start game (fifa13/origin)

 

Same here, it's like it isn't installed and the programs requiring it in fact do not work. I don't get why a bug like this would be in a RTM..

 

Was giving error because replacing the drive letter with caps,
touched by lowercase and it worked, THANK YOU

 

well, i see many people here asking for .NET framework, what is it for? i saw someone here mencioning that before we install a language pack we would need to install NF but here i installed it normally without the .net

maybe thats needed to run ms toolkit as such programs like that, i believe

 

Cannot install DNF3.5, whenever I try dims.exe related command, it says "cannot find original file."

sounds like you don't have the path correct to the installation media. e.g. in my case it was:

dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:netfx3 /all /source:D:\Downloads\MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.RTM.X64.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT\Windows_8.1_EN-US_x64:\sources\sxs /limitaccess

maybe you left one : out? happened to me first. and run from elevated command prompt.

 

you extracted your iso? if need to do it again, just click the iso let windows mount it (like a dvd drive) and use the letter it assigns it. D: E: F: whatever it gives it. no need extract the iso

after a test, i can confirm the issue. If languagepack is integrated before enabling .net framework, the sxs folder "broke" and the installation fail, can't download from windows update, results in error.

Enabling it before integrating a LP works perfect.

Someone can test if with Windows installed, added a LP and after trying to enabling .net framework results in issue or not

 

I confirm that fifa 13 wont start. i solve this by using crack (i have fifa 14 genuine) and also u can play online if u want with crack

GOT SUCCESS AFTER UNINSTALL LANGUAGE PT-BR, used the COMMAND PROMPT BY:
dism / online / enable-feature / featurename: netfx3 / all / source: l: \ sources \ sxs / limitaccess



Language reinstalled, and no problems with net ....

 

ok, it's a bug with LP. It's neccesary enabling .NET BEFORE installing any language in windows 8.1
