Not open it by clicking, it´s a console app you call via elevated CMD:

Sometimes an EXE looks way to attractive to not try to start it by clicking :D.

A USB/flash drive. I meant that it shows the third option is a USB device which is the one I need to repair. But, it also shows that its size is the same size as my HDD size. See this picture.

The 250 GB SATA HDD is the main HDD for my system, I'm at work now and this is my PC there, running XP. My problem is with my USB flash device (16 GB).

I hope all is clear now.

SO! Now: is that 16GB an Stick or an SD Card?

If a Stick: change the USB Port (check all USB sockets on that computer your using)! See one could realize that USB Stick as Storage device.

If a SD Card: use a Camera and try to format in those! There some SD Cards which are produced for Camera use only, maybe works in some computers, but all!
