I am really sorry if I wasn't clear before. You need to extract the contents of the cert.zip file to a folder, then right click on the installcert.cmd file and select Run as Administrator. If you cannot follow my words or instructions just install the certificate.
I understand what u said. but when i right click it and click run as admin' it asks me what i would like to run it with (dude im not retarded)
ok here is what you do dude: 1. Extract "cert.zip" 2. Run installcert.cmd(Run as Admin) 3. Select the cert from the "cert.zip" file to insert it. 4. Done, you should have the cert installed now if you do that properly lol.
When i run installercert.cmd as admin it asks me what i would like to open it with!!! I know what u r saying but it doesn't work!!
I see your concern, what I would do then is download the Daz loader and select "Advanced" then select the cert/key/slic company combo and hit install. It will only install the cert and key if you already have slic installed. If it cannot find slic then it will install the loader as well
If the errors arose from cancelling out of the download process then simply allow the download process to complete without cancelling. If the errors continue to arise, then close the update availability dialog and relaunch via Check for Updates from either Help > Check for Updates or from Start menu > All Programs > Geosoft > software application > Check for Updates. Select [Continue] to close the dialog and continue with the process while paying close attention to dialogs (i.e. prompts will be produced to close certain apps and/or dialog windows, including the "An update is available for Geosoft" dialog). Cancel out of this automatic update, and manually download and install the appropriate v7.0.1 update If the problem is still occurring, or even if it is occuring when you start the application (after what appears to be a successful update), you may be required to uninstall v7.0.1 and install the Full version.
Are u talking about daz's loader? cause' with daz's loader there is no advanced tab and in the advaned options tab it doesnt say what u r talkin about
Copy the lenovo cert I gave you to C:\ Open cmd prompt as administrator and type the following command and press enter Code: slmgr /ilc C:\lenovo.xrm-ms Close the command prompt Open Computer Properties and check if it says "Windows is activated"
if you download the 1.8.8 version and click on the profile tab the Slic, Cert, Serial can be changed then click on the installation tab again and click on the install button. Also sam3971 is right about that It will only install the cert and key if you already have slic 2.1 or a Bios mod installed. If it cannot find slic 2.1 and only 2.0 then it will install the loader as well.
Ok, I just did everything right but when I pressed enter on cmd this popped up "On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a0xBBA' ti display the error text. Error: 0xBBA" what's wrong?
I honestly think your best option is to format and reinstall windows. Considering this has been going on for almost a month.
@ MasterDisaster, he did say he wasn't online and your link has been removed i don't know if he got your batch file or certificate anyway I did tell him to rename cetificate to lenovo.xrm-ms a few posts back i.e. not hard to cut and past the details posted on forum
He had the batch file I gave him and he couldn't open it. That is the first time I heard problems in opening a batch file.
well urie i cant format windows 7 and reinstall it because i dont c what u dont understand by "I CANT REINSTALL WIN7 I DONT HAV THE DISK!!" and cant u post the lnk with the batch file again? because everyone is really starting to get difficult. and i already told u why i cant use daz's loader and opatatool
