No, thats not what i meant to imply. I merely speculated here. Like i said, normally updates are reliable and fast (they have dozens of dedicated update-servers) so a temporary unavailability should not be overrated. Unless their provider currently has technical problems (in which case it wouldnt be their fault) im sure it will be working again soon. If you really cant wait then...well...by all means try something else...
I've used ESET Smart Security for the past couple months but it's really annoying when it updates the definition about every 3 days or so you have to put in a new username and password. I installed avast professional yesterday. running it just with the basic windows firewall might download comodo.
yeah its a great setup but it gets annoying. at first u dont rly mind it but u have to put in a new username and password like every three days. u'll have to google nod32 username and passwords. so i had enough and just uninstalled it. installed avast pro and comodo firewall i just put in now.
No, there are neat little proggies/key finders that connect to a server, where valid login details are deposited, so, just quickly insert one and that's it! A doddle!
can someone link me to the keyfinder, would be great thanks still, avast + comodo is using lease resources and is running smooth EDIT: nvm
Zone alarm was a pain! It freezes my computer all the time, uninstalled it, I will give a try to Comodo, is it good guys? I never used it before.
@genuine555 Thanks for the tip, I installed Comodo + MSE and seems to be a good combination. But it not automatically disable Windows Firewall.
You're welcome, bro. May i advise you to disable win firewall through services.msc first, just stop and disable the service, then again in control panel, security center.
I tried Comodo a while back - is it still a pain [at least in interactive mode], asking all manner of silly Q's all the time ["learning"]?!? I found KIS much better in that regads, considerably less Q's [I presume it's welll made in terms of "white list" processes etc.]. NOD32 is the lighter of the better sec suites, which is good for older machines with less RAM etc. ZA was huge and everything comes to a standstill with it. Rubbish!
