Nothing happened with the batch. Now I don't know what can I do. I'm going to retry to install it once more and if it fail, i'll wait for the new simplix pack
What usually works for me when the Win7 update check is stuck in a loop is to use CCleaner to remove the temp and log files left by the previous update attempt. Also check for a temporary hidden folder left in the root of your C: partition and delete it. Then try again.
Hi, Did anyone have problems fetching Office 2016 updates? I can't fetch Office 2016 updates. Only 2013 or earlier
Do you still have problems with the windows 7 updates? I will, for three weeks is looped to "looking for updates".
These update are not included in Simplix. Windows update with Simplix (February 2016) worked very well until three weeks ago. I don't think that your update (KB..810) is useful... In january I've tried to use that update and nothing seemed to work..
i got all the problems u mentioned maybe because i used windows7 with updates until March 2016 what i did is i formatted my pc then used a fresh copy of windows7 with no updates batched to it and i only activated windows after i finished downloading all the updates for some reason using kms activation screws the updates or it is one of the kb's i am going to try it with the good old windows 7 loader see if it will work do you think maybe microsoft stopped the windows 7 updates ?
I'm afraid the situation with Windows Update searching for updates taking so long is not going to change anytime soon. Microsoft seems reluctant to restore WU response times to what they once were. They have had more than enough time to resolve the issue. I just can't help thinking this all has something to do with get Windows 10. You will see this slowness anytime you are missing any updates not yet applied to Vista, W7, W8 systems. Normally, once your system is fully patched, the delay searching for updates should be minimal. This has been my experience. An interesting note though - My XP POSREADY 2009 system has no delay whatsoever finding new updates.
