    I can't install Office 365 or 2021 (es-mx: 42) on a Windows 11 machine.

    • Laptop Acer Nitro AN515-57 (brand new purchased some days ago)
    • Windows 11 Home (English - United States)
    • Downloaded all available updates to date
    • Added language: Español - Mexico
    • Set input keyboard: English - International (to get á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ charac. by pressing Alt Gr + a, e, i, o, u, n)
    • Uninstalled default factory Office (en-us) using @abbodi1406 's OfficeScrubber cause Control Panel uninstall program didn't do anything when double clicking on it
    • Downloaded PerpetualVL2021 16.0.14332.20447 (YAOCTRU) (YAOCTRI - Single Apps) but gets stuck at 50%
    • Downloaded C2R Monthly 16.0.16026.20146 (YAOCTRU) (YAOCTRIR - Microsoft 365 Enterprise) but gets stuck at 40%
    • Kept online during uninstalls and installs
    • Ran OfficeScrubber and manually deleted some folders and couple of registry keys between installs, except the next one (Windows says it cannot be deleted):
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Common]
    "MID"=hex:99,22,a9,eb,16,0b,d1,42,9e,48,78,b7,92,cf,43,7a

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Common\Experiment]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Common\Smart Tag]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Common\Smart Tag\Actions]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Common\Smart Tag\Actions\{B7EFF951-E52F-45CC-9EF7-57124F2177CC}]

I need some assistance here please.

    Update:

Found out that installing an older build worked out flawlessly.
I have an "old" set of setup files downloaded with YAOCTRU dating from July 2022 (16.0.12527.22162).
When I chose to install Microsoft 365 Enterprise Suite - Monthly (YAOCTRIR) the setup program ran very fast without any issues.

One thing worth mentioning is this build (16.0.12527.22162) showed the same C2R install progress screen either offline or online.

    SUCCESS!!

    Update 2:

Found out that when I tried to install Microsoft 365 Enterprise Suite C2R Monthly 16.0.16026.20146 (YAOCTRIR) (downloaded yesterday YAOCTRU), if:
    1. Online, the setup screen showed differently to a regular C2R screen saying it was downloading the apps and got stuck.
    2. Offline, the setup screen was a regular C2R setup screen.

    FAIL!!

Does anyone have a clue about why setup fails with that build or perhaps some recent Office builds downloaded with YAOCTRU?

Check *.log files in %temp% and C:\Windows\Temp

maybe the downloaded files are corrupted

Two different packages downloaded in the same laptop and slightly different time?
I understand one package but both corrupted?
Unfortunately laptop's owner took it away yesterday and I can't get access again.
    Thanks anyway.

    SSL downloads are corrupt-prone
did you try to download with different tool? wget or aria or curl?

"gets stuck" does not explain anything without *.log files

Is there a reason why you do this?
Is curl.exe less prone to corrupt downloads?

    Curl is native on windows.
    According to some, yes.

Purely out of curiosity, I tried the "yaoctru-curl" download option, both times the installation has an error "AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll, C2R32.dll, C2R64.dll" - was not found, corrupted file.

    I prefer "Net.WebClient" for download.

I can't see that option in YAOCTRU.
