Dear experts, I have several problems with the ThinkPad Advanced Dock:
1.After installing a PCI-e card on it, the laptop (T400 7417), when docked, has stopped booting. This problem has been resolved by setting PCI Express Power Managment -> Disable in the BIOS (7VET94WW, 3.24 - Dec 13, 2011).
2.But now I cannot restart or even reboot my laptop after turning it off, it doesn't pass the BIOS processing (to restart/reboot I undock it first).
3.One more far-famed problem of ThinkPad Docks: after power loss the system freezes instead of continue working with the battery.
All motherboard drivers have been updated, as well as the BIOS.
It seems, their BIOS doesn't completely support docking stations, but, perhaps, these issues can be resolved by special BIOS setting?
I tried to find an answer in all possible forums including of Lenovo, at justanswer.com - without results.
As I have already said, these problems are common and are repeatedly described in the Internet.
