I have data base program that runs only on XP. I have another computer connected to it that has XP, and I can access the program and add or remove data. I would like to upgrade this computer to windows 7. Would I still be able to access the program.

Shouldn't be an issue. Windows 7 has a compatibility mode that may need to be used in some cases.

What program is it? Maybe they have an update that makes it more win7 friendly.

I think you are not working with windows 7 of 32 bits .
While you are installing then you can get an option and
there you have to select of which bit you want to install .
There you need to select 32 .
    Please make a try .
