I'm looking for a way to add items to windows startup easily with posibility of adding command arguments and specifying when to start (time and date). Anything like this around? Something like Task Scheduler but it is hard to quiocky add and disable stuff from it.

In the start menu, there is a folder called "Startup". You can create shortcuts to put in this folder or you can make a batch file to do something specific every time you start windows.

    Hi !
Ocygord want something to allow you to ADD a batch or an application to start.
i don't know whatsrunning and WhatInStartup, but in my opinion they only allow you to enable/disable existing process. it doesn't let you create a new startup item.

i think cocachris89's proposition is closer to what Ocygord is searching.

So you can create a shortcut of the application you want to start and put it in that folder :
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\

if you want to choose a date/time to start your application, you have to use the task scheduler or do it in a batch by testing the date\time at the begining of it. But this is not very convenient, better use the task scheduler...

I use WhatInStartup and you can create new entry, and i found it very friendly, Nirsoft is a good company with cool tools.
