I'm an elder millennial who has some major concerns about posting my info/face online. My Identity has been stolen 3 times over the last 10 years and this has ruined my credit. I'm struggling to get everything straightened out and it's even causing issues for me when trying to get a State ID. This has led to me being very cautious about giving out my info especially when it comes to posting things online. Another reason is that due to some drama in my family I do not want anyone I'm related to to find me online by searching for my name or seeing my face.

The issue I'm running into is that everything nowadays (google account, Cash App, Venmo, bank accounts like chime...etc.) wants you to post a selfie for verification and/or send in a picture of your ID. I really don't feel comfortable doing this and haven't done it. In retaliation all my accounts have been disabled making it difficult for me to operate online. When I tell people my concerns they just think I'm crazy or extremely paranoid.

It even caused me to lose a few job offers because they wanted to see my social media profiles (They usually asked to see my Instagram page) and because I didn't have one I was denied the jobs. I was told that I must have something to hide and that they don't want a person like me working for them. WTF?!?!? Is there any way around this or do I have to give in, post my info online and wait for everything to be stolen again?
