Pure Black Notepad for Windows 11

    Im searching for a pure black notepad for Windows 11 that has tabs and search function. It would be great if it has similar feature like stock notepad on Windows 11. It must be free. Do you have any recommendations?

    Im currently testing it but there is no way to get the background completely pitch black. I had a Notepad before that covered all my needs but I cant remember the name of the app.

    mb with notepad++ opacity
    u can achieve it ? or get closer to it

    I found how to get the colors right. Need to browse all settings and learn more about it but it seems nice so far.

    cant find tabs
    i think its snappier then npp

    I think they still haven't implemented Tabs after all these years...

    After some testing I have found npp is best for me. Everything works very well for me.

    i checked xml its corrupting the file

    mb same space or something

    im sticking to ms notepad.exe

    btw also notepad metro app have this
