N versions are the bane of my existence. Nobody wants to share them. Cold-hearted bastards. Don't they know that collectors have feelings too? *whimper*

Hello, this is my first post so please be indulgent I have bought a VIDO W8C chinese tablet. Now it's on its way to my home. It has Windows with Bing 32 bit Chinese , I asked the vendor to install italian but as a result some parts of METRO in particular (but also of windows UI) remained in chinese. Now, I've downloaded the restorable image from VIDO website (with instructions, only have to put the files on pen drive) and from its readme I get Code: Name:Windows 8.1 with Bing 32-BIT Chnsimp wimboot.iso Date£º2014-8-30 OS information Licensable Part Number:3S2-00016 Kit Part Number:X19-53328 Win with Bing 8.1 32-BIT X64 ChnSimp OPK software X19-33762 Office 2013 SP1 Single Image 32 64-bit ChnSimp OPK ======================================================================= for W8C camera HM2056+OV5648 Its structure is Now, I used to integrate drivers in XP but I've been away from building Windows images since a while, a lot of things changed. I don't know how winboot now works to save space on this 32gb eMMC, my question are: Is there any way to backup the license from the tablet (I would backup drivers also) and install Windows CoreConnected X19-57135_SW_DVD9_NTRL_Win_with_Bing_8.1_32BIT_Eng_Intl_OEM.img normally like I use to do with USB stick trough Windows Setup? Or it is not doable this way anymore? Thanks a lot, sorry for the lenght of post
As long as you can boot from a usb device, you should be able to just use rufus and load the iso over. As per my advice from page 1, you should read the OEM activation sticky. Getting your key using one of those tools will be the way to keep your activation. I don't know much about OEM activation in win8, but I'm pretty sure it's all done with hardware hashes. I don't think there are any certs required. I could be mistaken. You should definitely read that sticky. Now, if it has no option to boot from usb, then it becomes a lot more complicated. Then you'd have to make another partition and mess with bcdedit to get it to boot from the particular boot.wim after extracting the iso to that partition. At least, that's my theory. I've never actually done it myself, but I have messed with bcdedit, partitions, and setup quite a lot since working on my diskpart/apply script.
Got it. It has an ordinary bios, from wich you can modify boot option. This is from vendor instructions Admiting that I can retreive the key and install the exact same version (wich I'll get from slmgr.vbs /dlv ) and hoping that it is the Windows 8.1 Core Connected version, will it install all its files taking 13-14gb of space right? Is there any way (or guide) to make a WIMBOOT image from X19-57135_SW_DVD9_NTRL_Win_with_Bing_8.1_32BIT_Eng_Intl_OEM ?
How did you do to me now give me error img source fund but I have everything there and ISO img lang pck
slmgr /dlv will only give you the last 5 digits of the key. You need to run one of the programs from the oem activation sticky to get the full key.
