Hi Moderate, those files are stored in: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData\S-1-5-18\ReadOnly\LockScreen_Z But you'll have to take ownership to access them. And you can only look at them after you've moved them from the 'LockScreen_Z' folder. If you delete them Windows will go back to using the Web/Screen folder.
Thanks, but I don't have those two pics there... I have sand dune pic and river in the green forest pic there...
My default lock screen images are different from those and are located in the screen directory of web though. The same things are located at the directory C:\Windows\WinSxS\themeui_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.9926.0_none_5fda9e62d2cadff4 Perhaps you can check up that directory above.
Just got home and went to check the 'screen' and 'Lockscreen_Z' folders and noticed my lockscreen has changed again? Its solar panels now ??? But I can't find them either
@moderate: under the ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData\ there 2 folders, one like S-1-5-21 and an other with much more numbers. In that folder you get a folder NoAccess wich leads to LockScreenNotificationBadgeImages which contains some images which are protected/unviewable In the fist folder S-1-5-21 you have to open any following AFTER you had taken Ownership! That procedure has to be done for any single folder below SystemData Folder for to get access to the content. Most of the files are protected and you'll not be able to view them the normal way. First thing at all you've to do is to enable the view of Hidden Files and Folders!
You can view them by simply copying them to your desktop and open them with your photo application. They are in JPG and PNG formats. The fact is that none of them is the image of my default lock screen. I think the default lock screen images are not in that directory.
Just noticed something, I have two devices running 9926 (1x laptop and 1x PC) both installed from the same USB and setup the same. Yet only the Laptop is getting the dynamic lockscreens Also Is anyone collecting these? I've got he circuit board and solar panels, and the optic fibber Moderate posted. Anyone have any others?
LOL. Yeah, we should all have those ones. Its the special ones the MicroSofties are using their spying apps to sneak into my laptop, that I'm after.
