[Q] Win 8.1, bypass PAE/NX check

    Is there a way to bypass this check, in order to istall win 8.1 to older pc's?

    I'm especially interested on installing Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro, because is lighter than regular Windows 8.1 pro (correct me if I'm wrong)

    yeah but here

    says "It seems that for win8.1; MS has changed the location of PAE check in winload.exe, so for win8.1, the patch won't work for CPU without PAE."
    so I think current metods for Windows 8 wont work for Windows 8.1

    all right, i'm gonna let windows 7 finish to install updates, make a backup, patch win 8.1, and try to install it

    need help, when using Windows 8 CPU Feature Patch 1.5 i'm getting error "CreateFile failed" when trying to apply any patch, how to solve it?
